ABOUT DECENT FC
Decent fc is a football club owned by football administrators and philanthropists. We perform and have merged football work and philanthropy work together as one. As we are committed to nurturing and creating opportunities for young children especially the orphans and poor needy children who have the talent and potential to play football, and the brain to study at school to pursue their dreams on and off the pitch, to lead a decent life through football, education and character development.
Aside football, Decent fc is dedicated to the welfare of the underprivileged in Ghana, particularly the orphans and vulnerable children. Also, we believe and perform humanitarian works by donating medical supplies to poorly resourced health facilities, providing educational supplies to poor resource schools and providing assistance to brilliant needy students with scholarships to achieve their academic goals, and we fight against diseases particularly malaria and cholera by cleaning the gutters and the environment.
At Decent FC, our mission goes beyond the field. We are committed to making a lasting impact both on and off the pitch. Our objectives reflect our dedication to excellence, community development, and nurturing the next generation of football talent.

1. Player Development Excellence: Decent FC is dedicated to scouting, training, and developing the best football players in Ghana. Through a comprehensive and professional training program, we aim to unleash the full potential of our athletes, preparing them for success both in local competitions and on the international stage.
2. Education as a Priority: Beyond the game, Decent FC recognizes the importance of education. Our goal is to not only shape exceptional athletes but also responsible and well-rounded individuals. We actively work towards enrolling our players into educational programs, ensuring they have the tools for a successful future beyond their football careers.

At the heart of Decent is its football academy, where aspiring young players receive top-tier training from experienced coaches. However, what sets this academy apart is its holistic approach to player development. In addition to honing their football skills, players are also immersed in lessons of empathy, teamwork, and social responsibility. They engage in community service projects, visit local charities, and participate in workshops focused on empathy-building and leadership.
Talent Scouting Nationwide: Our commitment to excellence extends beyond our immediate surroundings. Decent FC's scouting team travels to villages and urban centres across Ghana, seeking out young, talented individuals who aspire to become world-class football champions. We believe that talent knows no boundaries, and we are dedicated to providing opportunities to those with the desire and potential to succeed.
Decent FC is not just a football club; we are a force for positive change, a hub for aspiring athletes, and a pillar of strength for the communities we serve.

Founder: Decent FC's journey began in 2005 under the leadership of Charles Kumara, whose passion for the sport and commitment to player development laid the foundation for the club's success.
Ownership Transition (2023): In 2023, a pivotal moment in our history unfolded as Charles Kumara, recognizing the potential for greater heights, sold 75% of his shares to a dynamic trio – George Mawunyo Segbawu, Ebenezer Ansah, and Elliot Bediako Nyani. This strategic move not only brought fresh perspectives but also ushered in a new era of growth and ambition for Decent FC.
Notable Achievements: Decent FC has earned a well-deserved reputation for its exceptional scouting and player development initiatives. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the pitch; we play an active role as a charity organization by enrolling our players in educational programs. This dual focus on athletic prowess and academic success defines the ethos of Decent FC.
